What is your 5 step plan to meet your genius hour goal by May 6th?1.) I am going to improve my page and get more information on it.
2.) I am going to try and express the importance to people about how important this it is to stay healthy and active. 3.) I, myself, is even trying to improve at staying healthy and preparing myself for sports. 4.)I am going to get more information on Juice plus from my mom and get more results. 5.) I am going to get more information and try an learn some more about all the pre-workout and protein drink mixes and try and find the best ones so that people know what to buy. Which aspect of your Genius hour project do you enjoy most?I enjoy find new things and learning new things about teens and teen athletes health. Which aspect you do enjoy least?I don't like having to transfer all of the information and going through a whole process just to get an image on my site.
After watching Ken Robinson's TED Talk about education, express your thoughts on how his views do/do not relate to the concept of Genius Hour. What about Ken Robinson's views do you agree/disagree with? Now that you have taken part in genius hour for a marking period, how can you relate to the article? Do you agree/disagree with the info in the article? Do you have anything new to add to the discussion? I like the idea of genius hour because we are able to learn about stuff we like instead of being told what to learn about. Personally I like it because I have a hard time focusing on things I don't care about and don't interest me. It is definitely an easier way to learn and and inform you about something we are interested in. It is something I look forward too in English and its like a getaway from the subject we are on in class. I totally agree with the article.
Now that your genius hour project is underway, what do you predict will be your biggest obstacle? How do you intend to overcome that obstacle? I think my biggest obstacle is getting all the athletes to stay healthy ALL the time not just sometimes. A lot of athletes eat healthy here and there and exercise here and there but i intend to get the to eat healthy and exercise all the time. I will overcome this by really stressing health and fitness and get results from athletes that do it all the time and show those results to those who don't
Describe what your Genius Hour project would look like if you could make it the very best it could be.For genius hour I plan on teaching children/ teens how to stay healthy by eating healthy and working out correctly. I think that it is very important to stay healthy when you are young and growing. Also it is important to workout correctly to prevent injuries. A lot of teens think that they are working out correctly but most likely they are not. Form and technique are big factors in working out.
Most children and teens most likely eat unhealthy. A lot of teen athletes take pre-workout and creatine , which is unhealthy at a young age. |
